February 25th

The drywall is done!!
Well, almost done - they still have to tape it and put the corners on.

The fireplace is in and we have bathtubs. Now all we need is water.

They have also completed the soffits & fascia.

February 9-18

February 9th
We had our pre-drywall inspection. Alfredo gave us a tour of our home. He went over the wiring with us to make sure that all the telephone, cable lines and lights were where we wanted them.

February 11th
When we went up on the 11th we found that they had finished the roof and bricking and taken the tarps off, but the scaffolding was still up.

February 18th
It is really taking shape. As you can see, the tarps are off, and our home is looking good (in our humble opinions). The interior is insulated (except for the attic), and the vapour barrier is up through the entire home. Wendy checked around the outlets and they have done a pretty good job at sealing around them, so unlike the townhouse, you can't feel drafts around them. The drywall was laid out in each room, so hopefully, when we check this weekend it will be up.

February 4th

We are almost fully bricked, and the roof is partially done. Our "cornerstone" has been installed, and we are looking forward to our pre-drywall inspection on Friday.
