December 23rd

We went up to find that they finished framing the exterior of the first floor, and we have a second floor - quite literally, a floor. Photos of this stage are below.

December 30th

Not too much to report. They just about finished the interior framing of the first floor, but have not yet started the second floor. A plus for quality control, is that in the "front yard" there was some material labelled rejects. No photos today, as there was a jumble of cross-bracing inside and it looked rather like a spider's web.

Progress at last!!

We now have most of the first floor framed, and are looking forward to seeing the second floor done this coming weekend (hopefully).

Two weeks ago when we looked, there were stacks of building materials with our lot number on them. We were sure that we would see some progress this past weekend, but sadly, there is nothing new to report. Work was being done to homes on the left and right of our home, so we are hopeful that they will start on ours sometime this week.
